Hartford guardians inc.

The Hartford Guardians Incorporated honors those that came before us and those that carry the torch today. We celebrate Black History every day.

About

The Hartford Guardians Inc. was founded in 1962 in order to ensure equity and inclusion for Black officers and community members in Hartford. The organization's purpose is to unite in bonds of fellowship and benevolence. To improve and guard the welfare of our membership. To serve our community in a courteous, intelligent, and efficient manner. To monitor and foster a better relationship between the Hartford Police Department and the community.

The Hartford Guardians Inc. conducts an annual Toy Drive for the City of Hartford. Toys donated are delivered directly to children in the city for the holiday season. This grand endeavor is only made possible through the generosity of community members and partners. This is one of our most significant programs of the year, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Rules for registration:
One application per residence. All children in residence can be placed on the same registration. Registration deadline is Monday, December 11.
Recipients must be Hartford residents.
Toys are for children 10 and under and are while supplies last.
Registration may not guarantee a toy. Some types of toys you may receive are: action figures, dolls, board games, stuffed animals, cars, and athletic toys.

For Thanksgiving, The Hartford Guardians Inc. partners with The Red Rock Tavern to provide a warm Thanksgiving Meal for the Community. We appreciate all the help we receive from our volunteers to make this event the best. We can also provide free turkeys for Hartford families thanks to The Hometown Foundation Dream Ride.
